Question by wethefolks14: Is our judicial sytem fair?
If so how? If not, then why no outcry?

Best answer:

Answer by eldude
It’s not fair. There are lots of things that play into ‘justice’ including race and income. Both of those things are both used for and against people of all walks. It’s weird and inconsistent. It’s not perfect but it’s not bad I think. There are lots of checks and balances in the justice system to help people avoid being screwed over by the system. But still, people get screwed often.
Justice is not blind though when it should be.

Answer by rickinnocal
Pretty much, yes.

There are problems, but on the whole it’s mostly fair.

I live in Florida. I got a dui a few nights ago. I was just wondering in most cases if AA meetings are usually appointed by the judge? This charge was also followed by a hit and run charge. I think AA would be a good idea for me. Is there any way I can even request going to AA?
