Niacin is a vitamin, not an illegal drug. It is present in many foods. They will not test for it.
Even doctors do not test for it unless there seems to be a nutritional problem.

Be aware that taking too much of any vitamin can cause problems.
“Pharmacological doses of niacin (1.5 – 6 g per day) occasionally lead to side effects that can include dermatological conditions such as skin flushing and itching, dry skin, and skin rashes including eczema exacerbation and acanthosis nigricans”.

EDIT
I see that I misread your question. The niacin will have no effect on the test or the level of THC in your system.

“A common misconception is that taking niacin will help you pass a drug test. This is nothing more than a myth. Niacin has absolutely no effect on the THC metabolites in your urine. But let’s assume that you only took niacin and drank water, and that you did pass your test. It would be a fallacy of causation to think that it was because of the niacin. Nothing more than pure coincidence”.

Pray. Niacin does nothing to removed drugs from your system, especially since you used drugs so very recently. It can take up to 30 days for pot to get out of your system.

Doctor: ADHD Does Not Exist

Question by Truth: Do I need help or can I handle this on my own?
I know this is a problem, I’m not in denial but really, does anyone think it’s worth getting help for?
When I was 15 I cut myself for the first time. I’ve always felt down about myself and admittingly don’t have a lot of confidence but I’m not sure why I did it that first time. I didn’t do it again till a year later when I started to feel extremely stressed and overwhelmed with school, and also felt really alone. I had friends but we were never close. Well I continued to do it for about 4 months, taking careful care to keep it hidden, and no one ever noticed, but I just stopped at one point… now I’m 21 have started doing it again. I’m dealing with a very stressful break up and have let my feelings effect my grades in school and relationship with friends by becoming really withdrawn. The thing is, I’ve always been able to stop so I feel like since I recognize it’s wrong and know what’s causing it, I’ll stop when I’m ready, but then why am I still doing it? I feel guilty after.
I should also add that I’m still in contact with the guy I broke up with even though he cheated, lied and treated me like crap while we were together and has made my life hell since, but I feel like if I don’t keep talking to him, he’ll make things even worse.

I’d point out his shortcomings in detail, saying there is no chance you will ever get together again, and that he should just forget you, and move on with his life, and find someone else, to whom, no doubt, he will do exactly the same thing (victimise). This is the probable cause of your recent problems. Tell him that if he persists in attempting to contact you, you will go to the police, and make a complaint. See self harm, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris in section 16, and visit your counselor.

Question by SHELTIELUVER: For those who watch A&E’s “Intervention”, can you answer a question?
I saw the preview’s for tonight’s episode and they say “Something that’s never happened on Intervention happens in an unforgettable episode” and they show someone running and the cops and some girl saying “This is intervention.” Do you know what happens or what do you think happened? I’m dying to know because I really like the show. Do you think someone OD’s or someone gets shot or something? Or maybe the police just bust someone before the intervention. These people on the show are awfully lucky, they do drugs in the cars, hang out in neighborhoods they clearly don’t belong in, steal from people, etc… which are all felonies. Also, by now, don’t you think every addict knows they are on “Intervention” when they sign up and have this crew following their every move?

thanks for the reminder that it’s on tonight. sounds like a pretty good episode. i have no clue what could happen- one of your guesses is probably right. the people who agree to be on “a documentary about addiction” must not know about the show, but with its widespread popularity i bet there are going to be some folks that catch on pretty quick. then again, think of all the people we’ve seen on the show- i haven’t seen any of them, except maybe the food addicts, watching tv. fortunately, for US that is, addiction is such a huge problem, there will always be plenty of people with serious drug problems that don’t have cable- or even a tv, to be on the show. from experience, i can tell you that being an addict is a full-time job. everything you do revolves around doing drugs, looking for drugs, and finding a way to pay for your drugs. they probably aren’t watching A&E, thank god.
14 more hours until we find out what they mean by “unforgettable”!!
enjoy!
