Because you don’t meditate on the breath and you don’t have a support system for getting sober and you probably also have friends who also use drugs and are a bad influence on you.

There is something called “addiction” that goes hand in hand with drugs. And when youre addicted to drugs, you’re basically powerless over any other choice in your life. If you’re too scared for rehab program, talk to a church and your family about getting you the help you need. Good luck.

Question by JustMe: Have you ever been to Timberline Knolls?
I’d like to start off by saying that it really hard and scary and weird to come out and say “Things are not okay, I’m not okay, and I need help. I’ve had some problems for quite some time now and I’ve always believed you should do things you feel you should do even if it scares you. So that’s what I’m doing or trying to anyway. I’ve had problems with self harm, depression, anxiety, and eating disorder behavior. I think that I may have borderline personality disorder or something similar. I’ve done a lot of research lately, and I found this mental health medical facility that sounds like the kind of place I could really get help from and grow as a person. Have any of you been there? Do you think it would be a good place for someone like me? Is it expensive? Do you know if they take tricare insurance? It’d be a lot of help if I could get some answers please and thank you in advance.

Adolescents and teen girls are treated at Timberline Knoll.
There is also a residential treatment center for women “to help rediscover and harness her strengths in five core aspects of the self:”
Emotions, mind, body, social, and spirit.
They specialize in treatment for eating disorders, drug abuse, addiction, and other mental health problems that often occur with the above: trauma and PTSD, depression etc…which often lie at the root of relapse
It is expensive. They charge on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week basis. It includes individual, family, and group therapies; all meals and lodging; clinical, educational, psychiatric, behavioral/milieu, nursing, and expressive therapeutic services.
Just found a quote of $ 995.00 dollars a day. I hope you have government insurance i.e. social security or Access.
They will check to see if your insurance will help pay. Financing options are available.

Some, most people need a support system. you need to find the courage, no matter how deep you need to dig. and get yourself in to a rehabilitation center. there you will find the help and assistance you need from compassionate and understanding as well as those educated in drug abuse and addiction. The drug has now become stronger than you! You will also find people like yourself addicted, whose lives have become unmanageable. No one begins using with the idea that the drug will take over their life. And who ever uses, will have a problem, how could you not, the feelings are so euphoric and overwhelmingly great. Go to a center or call the drug abuse hot line in your area for resources there is assistance out there. You first must make up your mind that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and being a slave to your addiction, it is a disease and unfortunately you will either quit or die with your disease. You are worth so much more than that. Go and seek some assistance, you will find compassionate and loving people to help you, you will also find there are many in this world fighting the same demons. And support comes in numbers. There you will be given the education and knowledge required to have the skills and tools to get yourself sober and stay that way. However, no one can do this for you, you are going to have to make the first step and then and only then, will you have a team of support behind you. Good luck and God bless I wish you the best of luck. If you are serious do it now while the thought is in your mind, tomorrow may be to late. 800-861-1768 or 1-800-622-HELP or 1-800-622-4357
