Question by Shea Vargas: Are there people who are “programmed” to be depressed?
I’ve had depression for four years and nothing has helped it. Therapy, medication, talking, nothing helps and it’s getting worse. I’m getting addicted to drugs I’ve only tried once and it’s hard for me to get off them. What’s wrong with me…?

Best answer:

Answer by DelilahDisaster
Depression is a chemical imbalance in your brain, that you are usually born with, so yes, it’s kind of like being “programmed” to be depressed. However medication should help. Just keep trying different ones until you find one (or a combination of a few) that works for you.
And if you have a history of addiction in your family, then you’re more likely to become addicted yourself. Perhaps you should go to a drug counselor, or Narcotics Anonymous meetings and get a sponsor. They can help a lot.
I hope everything works out for you, and remember, if you get too depressed, there’s always hotlines you can call, or you can just call 911.

Question by **Hannah**: i am writing a add for a rehab center in florida, does this line make sence voted best rehab in new york states?

Best answer:

Answer by thecharleslloyd
It is possible.

Answer by Armchair Goddess #1
“Sense” and capitalize the word “Florida” as a proper noun. The word “ad” is short for “advertisement” and there should be a period (.) used after the word “Florida.” Then the “d” for “does” should be capitalized as the first word of a new sentence, followed by a colon (:) after the word “sense” (not sence), after which you can place the words of your ad. Instead of using the word “best” without defining, I’d suggest the possibility of using “most effective”…”[Name of Rehabilitation Center] has been voted the most effective rehab in New York.” [If true, this would be an acceptable endorsement.]

It depends on the facility, you’d have to ask the clinic.

Answer by boobhead
ive been in a billion rehab centers……been clean now for 2 1/2 years and every single one of them you could walk right out of because for the simple fact you just cant get clean if your forced to …you have to want to do it for yourself.
